Japan is known for its amazing cuisine and for their hospitality, or omotenashi.. Food in this country is truly first-class, and most importantly, affordable. There is a tremendous amount of care and preparation for meals that you won't encounter anywhere in the world. Extra bonus: Japan is a no tip/gratuity culture AND yet they give the absolute BEST, accommodating service.

The Doraemon Museum is a must-see for any anime fan. It's very interesting to see the work of one of Japan's first anime pioneers, Fujiko Fujio.
